Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use RemoveBackgroundMusic.com. By uploading a file or purchasing an export, you agree to use the service lawfully and only with media you are authorized to process.

Your media and permissions

You retain your rights in the media you submit. You grant us and our processing provider a limited permission to transmit, process, and temporarily store the audio solely to provide the requested preview or export. You are responsible for having the rights needed to copy, process, download, publish, and otherwise use both the input and result.

Audio processing and retention

For MP4 input, the browser extracts and uploads audio only; the video stream remains on your device. Uploaded audio and generated results are configured for automatic deletion within 24 hours. Download completed results before their links expire.

Preview and result limits

The free preview helps you evaluate your own file before buying and is limited to one preview per day. Results can leave music, remove wanted sound, introduce artifacts, or create sync and compatibility issues. No particular separation result is guaranteed.

Paid exports

A Single Export includes one full export of a supported file up to ten minutes and must be used within 30 days. A Creator Pack includes five exports and up to 50 processed minutes total and must be used within twelve months. Both are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Only one processing job may run per account at a time.

Failures, refunds, and billing errors

If a technical job fails before a result is produced, the reserved export and minutes are restored automatically. If you were charged twice or cannot access a purchased entitlement, contact us with the email used at checkout and the Stripe receipt identifier. Refund requests are reviewed based on whether the purchased digital processing service was delivered; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to infringe rights, process unlawful material, bypass access controls, overload or probe the service, automate free-preview abuse, resell access without permission, or interfere with other users. We may block abusive requests or suspend access needed to protect the service.

No transfer or clearance of rights

Processing does not make an input or result copyright-free, royalty-free, cleared, or safe for commercial use. You remain responsible for reviewing the result and your intended use.

Service availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change processing providers, limits, or features to maintain security and reliability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a claim relating to a paid export is limited to the amount paid for that export. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not allow it.
